How Growth Accountants uses the details of the people we contact about our accountancy services, including by email from growthaccountants.co.uk.
Who we are
Growth Accountants Limited, an accountancy firm registered in England and Wales, company number 14753824. Our registered office is Quadrant House, Broad Street Mall, Reading, England, RG1 7QE. We decide how your details are used, and we are responsible for them.
What we hold and where it came from
If you are a director of a limited company, we may hold your name, your role and your company’s details. These come from the public register at Companies House. We may also hold a business email address or telephone number published on your company’s own website. If you reply to us, we keep your reply. If you give us your mobile number on one of our pages and ask us to ring you, we keep it and use it only to call you about what you asked.
Why we use it
To offer your company our accountancy services: its annual accounts, its tax returns and its filings at Companies House. We contact you because of your role at the company.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: our interest in offering those services to companies that may need them. You can object at any time, and if you do, we stop.
Who else handles your details
These companies work for us under contract:
- Salesforge sends our emails and receives the replies. It is based in the United States.
- Google and Microsoft host the mailboxes our emails are sent from.
- OpenAI rewrites the wording of each email slightly, so that no two are the same. It is given your first name, your company’s name and website, and the email’s wording, including the Companies House facts it mentions. It is based in the United States.
- Our hosting providers run our systems and store our records.
Where your details go outside the UK, they are protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
Visiting our pages
If you open a link in one of our emails, we record that the page was visited, when, which of our emails the link came from, and the type of browser used. We do not keep your IP address. These pages set no cookies.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to stop. After that, we keep only what we need to keep you off our lists: your email address or telephone number, and when you asked.
Your rights
You can ask us:
- for a copy of the details we hold about you;
- to correct them;
- to delete them;
- to stop using them, or to limit how we use them.
You can object to us contacting you at any time. Reply to any email we sent you — “no thanks” is enough — and we will not contact you again.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have used your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
